The Watauga County Back 2 School Festival saw a record number of school children show up at Watauga High School on Saturday, August 12th for backpacks, school supplies and much more.
Friday August 4th is the Pack the Bus - High Country Radio will be on site to wrap up our Pack the Bus event at First National Bank on 321. They will be at there from 11:00-2:00 offering prizes and talk time and energizing the community around this amazing event. We want to encourage everyone to drop by the bank and Pack the Bus for local kids.
This week only - bring any NEW packaged school supplies to Bakery location and receive a $1 gift card in exchange. If you bring folders or items small individual items, then quantities of 10 or more equal a $1 gift card. If you bring 5 packaged items then you will receive a $5 gift card!
Spread the word and start bringing those school supplies!
Buses are now parked at First National Bank (old Yadkin Valley Bank) on 321 and in front of New Market Center. Bring school supplies to the buses during business hours any day of the week.
More than 800 Watauga County Students started school feeling excited, confident and prepared for the new school year at the 4th Annual Back to School Festival on Saturday, August 13.
